Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 October 2026 · Applies to www.thebotcup.com and AiBotCup Simulator

In short: TheBotCup sells time-limited licenses for AiBotCup Simulator, a robotics programming simulator that runs in the web browser. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. You can ask for a refund within 14 days — see our Refund Policy.

1. Who we are

TheBotCup is operated by ai bot studio, Egypt ("TheBotCup", "we", "us"). Contact: thebotcup@gmail.com. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the website www.thebotcup.com, the AiBotCup Simulator and all licenses we sell. By creating an account or buying a license you agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you.

2. Our service

AiBotCup Simulator is an online educational simulator in which students learn robotics and programming (Blocks, C and Python) by programming a virtual mining robot, and take part in the TheBotCup competition. It is a digital service delivered in the browser: nothing physical is shipped.

3. Prices and payment

Student licensePrice (USD)
1 month$10
6 months$50
12 months$90

Prices are shown before you pay and may be subject to sales tax or VAT depending on your country, which is calculated at checkout. Licenses are one-time purchases: they do not renew automatically. Buying again before a license ends adds the new time on top. Promo codes can reduce the price; they cannot be exchanged for money.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payments are made in Paddle's secure checkout; TheBotCup never receives your card details. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Your license is added to your account automatically when the payment is confirmed, and Paddle emails you a receipt.

4. Your account

5. Fair use

You must not share accounts or licenses, try to get around the one-computer rule, copy or resell the simulator, interfere with its security, or fake competition results. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules; in serious cases without a refund.

6. Competitions

Official TheBotCup competitions follow the published rules for each category. Official results are decided by the judges, who run the submitted programs. Judges' decisions on results are final.

7. Intellectual property

The simulator, its fields, robots, rules, training material and website are owned by ai bot studio and protected by copyright. A license lets you use them for learning and competing; it does not transfer ownership. Programs that you write remain yours.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and secure, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve or change features. If we stop offering the service while your license is active, we will refund the unused time.

9. Liability

The service is provided for education. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license concerned in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date above shows the latest version. Important changes will be announced on the website before they apply.

12. Law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, without affecting mandatory consumer protection rules of your country. Questions: thebotcup@gmail.com or our Contact page.
